Training Provided

J Bowlin Security is an approved Licensed Training Facility with TOPS and offers the complete and most current 40-hour Level III course. Upon completion of the course the student will receive a Level III Security Guard License (Pocket Card) issued by the State of Texas Private Security Board. With over 40 years of combined experience and TCOLE Instructor certifications we train security officers for front line duty. The Training includes both classroom instruction, defensive tactics, baton, OC spray, Taser and firearms range qualification. This certification exceeds the requirements of the Texas Private Security Board to qualify as an Armed Security Officer in the state of Texas. The officer is trained in advanced security techniques and basic firearms, topics and laws related to their responsibilities as a Commissioned Security Officer.

This course is a 8-hour course including 1 hour of Ethics and range time, for qualified individuals seeking to renew their Level III Texas commissioned security license.
